- מְפַנְקוּ, מְפַנְקוּתָאf. (preced.) good breeding; delicacy, fastidiousness. Targ. O. Deut. 28:56 ed. Berl. (Ms. I מִתְפַּנְקוּ, some ed. אתפנקו, v. Berl. Targ. O. II, p. 58; Y. פרניקא).Pes.50b משום מ׳ הוא it is merely because they are used to indulgence (idleness). Ḥag.6a חנה מ׳יתירתאוכ׳ Hannah saw in Samuel extraordinary tenderness (saw that he was a very delicate child).
